Cookie Policy

1. Consent first
When you first visit malta-cleaners.com, all advertising and analytics cookies are denied by default. Tracking tags only load after you accept in the cookie banner, or if you already accepted on a previous visit (remembered locally on your device). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing site data in your browser and choosing again.
2. What we set before consent
- Your consent choice (browser local storage, key
mc_consent) — strictly necessary to remember your decision. No consent, no storage. - Consent-mode pings — cookieless requests that report the granted/denied consent state.
- Booking attribution — if you arrived through an ad and voluntarily submit a booking, the ad click identifier already present in the landing URL may be stored with that booking and passed to the confirmation page for aggregate conversion measurement. This does not set an advertising cookie or add your name, email, or phone to the URL.
3. Cookies after you accept
Marketing tags (loaded via Google Tag Manager after consent) may set the following:
- Google Ads — conversion measurement and ad personalization (_gcl_* cookies). Purpose: measure which campaigns bring bookings; 90–180 days.
- Meta Pixel — conversion tracking and audience building (_fbp). Purpose: measure ad performance; 90 days.
- Google Analytics (if enabled in our tag configuration) — site usage statistics (_ga, _ga_*). Purpose: understand site usage; up to 13 months.
4. No advertising cookies without consent
If you do not accept, no advertising or analytics cookies are set on the marketing pages. The site works fully without them — booking, WhatsApp contact, and every page remain available. A booking submitted after an ad click may still carry the existing click identifier for consent-aware, cookieless conversion measurement as described above.
5. Third-party links
Our WhatsApp button and some links open third-party services (WhatsApp, Revolut payment links). Those services set their own cookies under their own policies once you are on their sites.
6. Managing cookies
Besides our banner, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Deleting cookies also deletes your consent record, so you will see the banner again on your next visit.
