Are your cleaners employed or contractors?
All our cleaners are fully employed by MaltaClean — never subcontracted. They are Latin American professionals, vetted, trained, and insured. You'll always know who is coming to your home.
Do you bring cleaning supplies, or do I provide them?
We bring all our own professional supplies and equipment — eco-friendly products, microfiber cloths, vacuums, mops. You don't need to provide anything unless you have specific preferences. Just let us know in the booking notes.
Which areas of Malta do you serve?
We serve all of Malta — Valletta, Sliema, St Julian's, Mellieha, Mosta, Birkirkara, Qormi, and everywhere in between. If your address is on the Maltese islands, we can usually accommodate it. Confirm coverage in the booking form.
What if I'm not satisfied with the cleaning?

Can I book a one-time cleaning, or do I need a recurring plan?
Both. Book a single deep clean, move-in clean, or post-construction clean whenever you need it. Or set up a recurring weekly, biweekly, or monthly clean with a 5% recurring discount — cancel anytime.
How do I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment at no charge. Within 24 hours, a 50% fee applies. You can manage bookings via WhatsApp, email, or our employee portal. No long-term contracts.
Are you insured? What happens if something is damaged?
Yes — MaltaClean is fully insured. In the rare event of damage, we coordinate repair or replacement directly. Our team is trained to handle delicate surfaces, artwork, and electronics with care.

What's the difference between regular and deep cleaning?

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

Can I pause or cancel my recurring plan?
Yes. Recurring plans are flexible — pause for holidays, skip a week, or cancel anytime. No long-term contracts. Just give us 24 hours notice for changes.
Will I get the same cleaner every time?
We aim for consistency. You'll typically have the same team member for your regular cleans, so they learn your home and preferences. If they're ever unavailable, we'll send a trained replacement.

No. We bring all professional-grade, eco-friendly products and equipment. If you have specific products you'd like us to use (e.g., a preferred brand or allergy-sensitive option), just note it in the booking.
What's the difference between deep cleaning and post-construction cleaning?
Deep cleaning focuses on accumulated dirt, grime, and neglected areas in a lived-in home. Post-construction cleaning removes construction dust, debris, and residue from renovations or building work.
Can I book a deep clean as a one-off?
Absolutely. Deep cleaning is a one-off service — no recurring commitment required. Many clients book a deep clean first, then switch to a regular maintenance plan.

Yes. We provide a detailed receipt confirming the property was professionally cleaned. Many landlords and estate agents in Malta accept our service as meeting end-of-tenancy cleaning requirements.
What if my landlord isn't satisfied with the clean?
Our satisfaction guarantee applies. If your landlord identifies specific issues within 24 hours, we'll return to address them at no extra cost. We want your deposit back as much as you do.
Can you clean while I'm still moving out?
Ideally, we clean after the property is empty. However, we can work around furniture or boxes if needed. Let us know the situation when booking.

How soon after construction can you clean?
We recommend booking 1-2 days after all construction work is fully complete. This ensures all trades have finished and no new dust will be created. We can clean sooner if needed, but residual dust from ongoing work may occur.
Do you remove construction debris?
We remove light debris (packaging, tape, offcuts). Heavy debris (bricks, tiles, timber) should be removed by your contractor. We focus on the fine cleaning — dust, residue, and making the space spotless.
Can you clean during snagging or final inspections?
Yes. Many property developers and contractors book us for pre-handover cleans. We can coordinate with your project timeline. Contact us for larger or commercial projects.

Do I need to provide an iron and board?
We prefer to use your iron and board as they're set up for your space. If you don't have equipment, we can bring our own — just let us know when booking.
